The purpose of St. Vincent's Assistance and Outreach Program is to help thse who express a need for food, emergency financial help, and or furniture and applicances.
We work closely with Catholic Community Services and other Agencies and when possible we refer families to them.
FOOD PANTRY:
Non-perishable items sustained by donations and is designed to help families through emergency situations. The food pantry is staffed by volunteers and availableto anyone in need.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
For emergency situations parishioners are invited to donate money for medicine, heat, electricity, car repairs, gasoline, diapers.Christmas gifts, holiday turkeys and hams.
FURNITURE:
We depend on Parishioners to respond to requests when possible and for volunteers to pick up and deliver.
CLOTHING:
We are not able to collect clothing due to lack of storage and distribution. You may donate clothing and other items to Catholic Community Services who can pick up and deliver large loads. (977-9119)
SUB-FOR-SANTA:
Each year St. Vincent's sponsors a Sub-For Santa program where parisioners are asked to help a family with Christmas items, especially toys and clothing.
